What we collect

• Email & signup details— when you request the Operator Kit (your email and, optionally, what you're building), plus the source/UTM parameters of your visit. Marketing-email consent is given by an explicit checkbox at signup and recorded with your subscription.
• Purchase details — when you buy a course, Stripe collects and processes the details needed for checkout, tax, receipts, invoices, fraud prevention, and refunds.
• Analytics — privacy-friendly usage analytics (pages viewed, interactions) only after you consent.

Cookies & consent

We set no analytics cookies or storage until you accept via the consent banner. Decline and no analytics is loaded. You can change your choice by clearing site data.

Legal basis

We process your email and marketing consent on the basis of consent. We process purchase and fulfillment data to perform our contract with you. We process support, security, and basic operational data on the basis of legitimate interests. Analytics is processed on the basis of consent.

• Email marketing & delivery: Kit (ConvertKit).
• Payments, receipts, invoices & tax calculation: Stripe.
• Product analytics: PostHog (US hosting) and Vercel Web Analytics.
• Hosting: Vercel.

Retention

We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained per our analytics provider's settings.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data, withdraw consent, and object to processing. Email hello@operatorclass.coand we'll act within the legally required timeframe. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
